JLT Mobile has always been a profitable company with significant and organical growth. JLT:s market shares on relevant and growing markets has reached considerable levels.

Important milestones has been:

2007
Agreement with Volvo for truck computers distributed by Volvo Truck Centers and Volvo dealers.
2006
Sales partners established in Germany and France. Strong developement of ordinary business and sales activities. All products was redesigned in order to meet the RoHS- och WEEE-directives.

Efforts for increased sales on the transport market was initiated by niched activites for vehicle manufacturers and application companies. 

2005
The Big Deal-konceptet is established by an order to FedEx US. The turnover exceeds for the first time 100 MSEK and reaches 138 MSEK. The public interest for JLT Mobiles shares increased heavily with rised stock value as a result.

Sales Partners established in Great Britain and Denmark

03 - 04
Fast growth in US and Canada. Sales jpartners in five continents. JLT:s global market share for vehicle computers is 5%. Financial targets exceeded.

The first version of Field Tablet PC developed and sales was initiated.

01 - 02
JLT Mobile appointed as IT challenger of the year by Veckans Affärer. New company name, adapted company structure and owners as a result of merge with  Gandalf AB. Listing of JLT on the stock exchange which also increases customer confidence for larger contracts and trust of partners in the future expansion of the JLT network.

More  OEM-relations with global system integrators in warehousing and logistics makes  JLT a leading vendor for the global fork lift market. 


Introduction of the new generation of mobile computers featuring the ability to run under water and the use of Pentium III processors.

98 - 00
JLT develops an innovative Business-to-Business platform for effective supply-chain communication focusing on product-development and networking logistics. Outsourcing manufacturing and sales to partners in a network.

Most major manufacturers of vehicles within forest industry and warehousing adopted the concept of Rugged mobile computing, leading to JLT's significant growth throughout Scandinavia and Europe.

JLT established a strong position on the American market starting with an order from Leica Geosystems. 

A third generation of vehicle mounted computers was developed.
95 - 97
A leading position on the market for mobile computers in swedish forest industry is reached.The vision of a networking organisation was created facilitating JLT to act globally and be able to serve large customers, but with the ability to move as fast as a small organisation. 

JLT was the first to introduce the second generation of mobile computers with features like Pentium processors and cold resistance (-20 C). These features are today considered a standard in mobile computers.

1994 - Rugged Mobile Computing
JL Teknik was established as a company and Jan Olofsson was appointed Managing Director and head of product development. His background in military electronics offered JLT great insights for the future market of "Rugged Mobile Computing".
