Quality and Environment
The producers that JLT use today are certified to meet International Quality Standards in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 and are in addition to this certified to meet 14001:2004 Environmental Management Standards.
The JLT computers of today certainly comply in all parts with the EU directives RoHS* and WEEE** and JLT is marking and register all our computers in accordance with WEEE directives to be ready for the recycling programs implemented by EU and other continents that follow these directives.
*The EU directives RoHS means "Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment" containing excess amounts of lead, cadmium, mercury and certain flame retardant materials.
**The other EU directives WEEE stands for "Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment" where recycling programs will be implemented with the purpose to comply with the details in the WEEE directives.
